Trisha Kroll - Holy Family Head Coach and Varsity Coach, atigakrolls@aol.com

Trisha played volleyball at the University of Kansas and graduated from KU with a Masters in Speech Pathology in 1998. She has been coaching volleyball for 13 years and has been the head coach at Holy Family since 2001. Trisha is married to Alan Kroll and they have 3 boys, Isaiah, Graham and Athan.

Brittany grew up in Conifer, but attended school at Creighton University in Nebraska for Theology, Spanish, and Youth Ministry. She is in her third year teaching Spanish and Yearbook at Holy Family, and also helping coach tennis and moderate Student Council and the Rosary Club.  Her passion is youth ministry, but her other hobbies include swing dancing and listening to country music!  This is Brittany's third year coaching the Holy Family girls freshman volleyball team.

Ted is in his sixth year as an assistant coach for the Holy Family varsity team.  He coached middle school girls volleyball at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Boulder for 11 years.  Ted has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University, and a MS in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado and currently works for AT&T.  He is married to Martha and has 2 daughters, Melissa and Lacey.

After years of playing competitive volleyball, John turned his attention to coaching youth athletics.  He has coached youth volleyball at the Gold Crown and high school levels for over 7 years.  In 2009 he co-coached the Holy Family Boys Varsity State Championship team.  He is currently in his fourth year as an Assistant Girls Varsity Coach at Holy Family. John is married to Syndi and has a son, Ryan and a daugher, Jenny.

David Platz, Junior Varsity Coach, david.platz@comcast.net  

This is the first year coaching HFHS JV girls volleyball for David.  He was born and raised in a Dyersville, Iowa and attended elementary and secondary Catholic school there. He moved to Colorado in 1979 and has consistently participated in various competitive sports including men’s USVBA volleyball.  David started coaching 9 years ago at Nativity with Nathan; who is a Holy Family Alum and CSU student; and has continued since with boys and girls. David is married to Jill and they have 3 boys; Josh, Nathan and Darin.

Cathy was born and raised in Southern California. She fell in love with volleyball on Hermosa Beach. She has coached boys and girls volleyball at Nativity for 13 years, coached co-ed youth volleyball for Broomfield Rec, Gold Crown and boys club for Colorado Gold. She is married to Rick and has a daughter Rachel and two sons, John and David. This is her secondyear on the coaching staff at Holy Family.

Bryan Winther - Assistant Varsity & JV Coach, bwinther@nd.edu
    Bryan is a 2005 graduate of Holy Family, where he was a two-time state champion and three-time All State setter for the Tigers men's team. While in high school, Bryan played 4 years of club volleyball with Colorado Gold, where he was a member of two top-20 open teams at the Junior Olympics. 
    Bryan was a member the men’s volleyball team at the University of Notre Dame where he was a three year starter at both right side and setter, being named a captain in two of those years and First-Team All-Conference his senior season. Bryan picked up valuable experience coaching for the team. Following graduation, he enrolled in the University of Notre Dame's ACE (Alliance for Catholic Education) program, through which he taught high school math and science in an inner-city Memphis Catholic high school. During these two years, Bryan coached the varsity team at his high school as well as top teams for Memphis Metro volleyball club.
